The Bluewater District School Board says they are deeply saddened of the passing of three students at John Diefenbaker Senior School in Hanover from a crash on Tuesday.
Three students died from the crash with another taken to hospital in London.
Jane Thompson, Chair of the Board for the school board says the impact of this tragedy is far reaching and they recognize the shock and sadness many are experiencing which could be compounded by recent tragedies which have occurred in other schools.
Mental health staff and the Tragedy Response Team are on site at JDSS providing grief counseling and other forms of support for staff and students in the days and weeks ahead.
