Saugeen Shores Police advise having Cat Prowl Off Leash in the Region Not Permitted

They advise that any animal must be leashed when outside of your private property and shared fees for animal by-law violations including $100 for failure to leash, license or allow to run at large.

Saugeen Shores Police Service took to social media to advise area cat owners that although it makes a great song to have a cat prowl it is not permitted in Saugeen Shores.

In the post the Police say that any animal must be leashed when outside of your private property.

They also shared screen captures of the fines and fees in place for cat licensing, animal reclaim fees, failure to license, leash or run at large each runs $100.00.  

The Saugeen Shores Police also shared word of how pet owners can tag and microchip their animals.
