The Saugeen Shores Police Service advises that Court Dockets are public information.
They say the area falls under the Walkerton Court Municipality.
Dockets are updated at 8am.
If a resident believes they have court, they say to make sure to check the dockets to ensure they do not miss the date.
If you do a court warrant will be out for the person’s arrest.
First appearance court dates are normally on Wednesday’s 3 to 4 weeks from the day of charge.
The date may depend on the type of incident or if the person is being held for bail.
And they say just because some is charged with an offence does not make them guilty under they are deemed so by the courts.
