Saugeen Shores Police have charged a 24-year old with impaired operation after they were stopped in a targeted enforcement initiative early Sunday morning.
Officers were on Goderich Street in Port Elgin when they observed a vehicle being driven in a dangerous manner around 12:30 am.
A traffic stop was initiated and it was determined the driver was impaired by alcohol.
The resident of Saugeen Shores has been charged with operation while impaired 80 plus and dangerous operation.
His vehicle was impounded and his license was suspended.
