Saugeen Shores Police have identified a driver who was involved with a dangerous flight from police Monday evening.
Officers received a complaint around 6:17pm that a 2018 Red Chevrolet Silverado was being operated dangerously in Port Elgin.
The vehicle was located by officers and a traffic stop was initiated.
The vehicle fled from police at a high rate of speed in a residential area.
The driver was identified and a pursuit was not initiated due to public safety.
Police encourage the driver to contact their lawyer and make arrangements to turn themselves in at the nearest police station.
A warrant is being sought for their arrest.
