The Town of Saugeen Shores is seeking residents’ input as it reimages Port Elgin’s North Shore Park.

The opportunity presented itself to revitalize the area after the September storm.

Town Staff will host a public meeting on Thursday, July 7th from 5 until 7 pm at the North Shore Pavilion to determine what amenities should be in place at the park.

Options include:

  • Open spaces
  • Playground
  • Pavillion, Washrooms
  • Miniature Train
  • North Shore trail
  • Harbour Entrance

The revitalization of North Shore Park is consistent with the Town’s 2013 Waterfront Master Plan, which is a policy blueprint that uses significant public & expert consultation on how to develop the waterfront in a desirable and sustainable way.
