The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are set to take the team back in time with its “Lakeshore Winterhawks” night tonight as the team faces the Lucknow Lancers at the Southampton Coliseum tonight at 8:30.
The former Lakeshore Winterhawks began as the Port Elgin Sunocos in 1967 before going on hiatus in 1985.
They reformed as the Lakeshore Winterhawks in 1989 and played until 1996.
The Saugeen Shores team was formed in 2007.
