Saugeen Shores Winterhawks Preparing for Start of Upcoming 2022-23 Season

Team kicks season off on the road October 8th in Seaforth versus defending champions Centenaires before returning for home opener Oct. 21st vs. Clinton.

Saugeen Shores Winterhawks announced they are eagerly awaiting the start of the upcoming 2022-23 WOAA Senior A Hockey League season.

The team opened training camp on Monday with a solid core of returning players as well as some exciting new additions.

The team kicks their season off on the road on October 8th in Seaforth to face the defending champion, Seaforth Centenaires.

The home opener for the team is Friday, October 21st at 8:30 pm as the Winterhawks welcome the visiting Clinton Radars to the Plex.

The regular season will feature 20 games, 10 at home and 10 on the road.

The team will play all but one home game at the Plex in Port Elgin with the last at the Southampton Coliseum on January 20th against the Lucknow Lancers.
