Seaforth ER set to close overnight tonight starting at 5pm

Paramedics will remain available and will re-route to the nearest available ER until the Seaforth ER reopens Wednesday at 7 am.

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is set to close the Seaforth Hospital ER as a result of staffing shortages.

It is set to close this afternoon, Tuesday, May 23rd at 5pm and reopen tomorrow morning at 7am.

Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 911.

Paramedics will remain available and will re-route to the nearest available ER to ensure they have continued access to the emergency medical services they need.

The closest 24-hour ER Departments are Exeter, Goderich and Stratford.

They advise to check with the Emergency Department listed before visiting to ensure they are operating at regular hours.
