Search Warrant executed in Ripley by OPP on Tuesday

26-year-old of Huron-Kinloss faces possession of controlled substance, possession of firearm & ammunition while prohibited as well as trafficking charges.

The South Bruce OPP executed a search warrant on Tuesday in the Village of Ripley.

Police, as well members of the Community Street Crimes Unit executed it along Huron Street and were able to seize a quantity of offence related property.

Items recovered included several Gallagher products and a 22 calibre Savage rifle.

The estimated value was just under $3,000.

Also seized were a quantity of methamphetamine.

A 26-year-old male of Huron-Kinloss faces charges including possession of a controlled substance, 2 counts of possession of a firearm & ammunition while prohibited as well as trafficking of stolen goods and failure to comply with a probation order.
