A section of a bike park in Inverhuron will remain as a bike park and not be converted into an off-leash dog park.
A survey was conducted on whether there was a need for a second off-leash park in the municipality.
A staff report to Kincardine Council on Monday suggested that the bike park continue to operate as is, that enhancements be made to the current off-leash park, and that a future dog park be considered at the Tiverton Sports Centre.
Mayor Gerry Glover says there were some dog owners who took their pets to Inverhuron for exercise.
Glover says he hopes the Municipality will have something for residents in the north end of the municipality by the end of the term.
