Seven Immigrants Honoured with Inaugural I Am Huron Awards

Huron County’s Immigration Partnership has celebrated seven immigrants and newcomers to Canada who have made a difference in the community with the inaugural I Am Huron awards.

Recipients were chosen based on their nomination submissions with a focus on community and society, economic impact and cultural and artistic contributions.

Pam Somers, Chair of the Huron County Immigrant Advisory Council says these awards honour the incredible people who have chosen to make Huron County their home adding through their hard work, entrepreneurship and volunteerism they enrich our communities and inspire us all.
