Recent tragedies brought on by ongoing drug epidemic have prompted the Council of Saugeen First Nation to declare a state of emergency.
Chief Conrad Ritchie says they will be working with community members and leaders to address concerns brought forward about drugs, gangs and weapons.
Council says information updates will be provided each Friday throughout the duration of the state of emergency.
