A shoplifting in Goderich has resulted in charges against a 29 year old.
On September 5th just after 9:50am, Huron County OPP was called about an individual who had stolen items from a store and assaulted staff.
Police were able to locate the suspect and the stolen merchandise.
Staff was not injured in the assault. As a result a 29 year old of no fixed address has been charged with Assault, Theft Under $5000 and Failure to Comply with Probation.
The accused was held for bail and later remanded into custody.
