Sound of Music closes out Huron County Playhouse’s 50th season

The Huron Country Playhouse wraps up their 50th anniversary season with a showing of the timeless masterpiece the Sound of Music.

The play follows aspiring nun Maria, who leaves the convent to govern the seven mischievous children of Captain von Trapp.

The popular musical features iconic songs like “My Favourite Things,” “Do Re Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen,” “The Lonely Goatherd” and, of course, the glorious title track.

The show is directed and choreographed by Timothy French.

The three week run of shows begins August 17.
