The Municipality of South Bruce has seen the Councillor for the Milday-Carrick Ward submit her resignation.
Audrey Bross submitted the letter on February 2nd but it was formally received at the February 7th meeting.
In it she says that after much consideration she has come to the conclusion she will not able to make the community contribution she had wanted to while on council.
She adds she is grateful for the learning opportunity that she has received during her time on council.
Bross was acclaimed in the October 24th, 2022 election along with fellow Ward councillor Jeff Goetz.
South Bruce has the option to either hold a By-election to fill the vacancy or fill it by appointment.
They have 60 days from the declaration of the vacancy.
