South Bruce OPP arrest Accused in Recent Theft and Solved Multiple Break-In Cases

Investigation after arrest of 26-year-old South Bruce Peninsula resident solved five other break-ins cases; four in Kincardine and one in Saugeen Shores.

South Bruce OPP has resolved multiple break-in incidents recently in Kincardine, Tiverton and Saugeen Shores.

Officers received reports on September 12th just before 8 am of a theft along Main Street in Tiverton.

Officers discovered an assortment of tools had been stolen.

Later the OPP working with Saugeen Shores Police took an individual into custody without incident.

The arrest of a 26-year-old of South Bruce Peninsula also solved five other break-ins reported; four in Kincardine and one in Saugeen Shores.

Investigators recovered a significant amount of stolen property including tools, firearms, ammunition, jewellery and alcohol.

The accused remains in custody awaiting a show cause hearing.
