South Bruce OPP were kept busy during Monday’s winter storm.

Between Monday and Tuesday this week, OPP received 28 calls for collisions, and vehicles that were stuck on the side of the road or in a ditch.

There were no reports of injuries in any of the incidents.

The hard packed snow and ice combined with high winds and blowing snow is said to may have contributed to some of the crashes.

OPP say while it is a great to have a vehicle that is properly equipped as well as an attentive driver, sometimes it is also a good idea to stay home until weather conditions improve.
