South Bruce OPP have joined the CamSafe program.
CamSafe is a database of registered residential and commercial security cameras which can act as a resource for officers when investigating crimes.
Officers will be able to view cameras to get further details which can help with investigations.
Officers cannot access security cameras or cloud based accounts or the live feed of a camera but first must request access to footage who will reach out to the property owner and make a request directly.
Those who want to register their cameras can do so from the CamSafe website.
