The Municipality of South Huron announced this afternoon that after 4 months of construction the South Huron Rec Centre is set to reopen for ice usage on September 19th.
The Municipality says that while the ice will reopen there are still a few finishing touches being put on the facility as well as the next components of the project.
They advise patrons to only use the east entrance to enter and exit the facility as the west is temporarily closed.
Parking is also only available on the east and north side of the facility due to the construction.
There is one accessible spot adjacent to the temporary entrance.
The new dressing room addition will continue this fall.
