The Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Auxiliary finally celebrated 100 years of dedicated service to the local community on Wednesday.

The mark was actually back in 2021 with the Auxiliary founding back in 1921. The pandemic caused the celebration to be delayed.

The celebration brought together near 5 dozen members of the Auxiliary, hospital staff and the President of AMGH as well as other local members of council including Acting Mayor Myles Murdock who shared news and photos from the event.

Murdock said in his post that he has been a part of the Foundation for 12 years and was happy to see so many familiar faces at the event. He adds that they have done a tremendous amount of work to support AMGH both in terms of fundraising for medical needs and for bringing joy to patients and staff.
