The Southampton BIA made a presentation recently to Town council where they outlined a streetscape plan for both beautification and promotion of the downtown.
The $300,000 study created by a consultant for the BIA looked at three key areas including an urban analysis, the business mix and parking.
The decision is now up to the council to decide whether to include the project in the next fiscal budget for the community.
This is the third such streetscape plan that has been presented in the past 2 decades.
The next step is for Town Staff to come back to Council with a report.
