Owen Sound Police have charged a 34-year-old male of no fixed address after a stabbing Sunday evening.
Police were called to the scene near 6th Avenue East and 19th Street East around 7:15 pm on reports of an altercation between two males.
During it a 30-year-old Owen Sound male was stabbed numerous times.
He was taken to local hospital where he received emergency surgery and remains in Intensive Care.
The suspect remains at large. The victim and suspect were known to each other.
On Monday there was an increased police presence in the area as the crime scene was processed.
The incident remains under investigation.
