Station Beach and Point Clark Beach have been deemed unsafe for swimming by Grey Bruce Public Health.
Water samplings taken have shown bacterial levels exceeding Ontario Ministry of Health standards.
Given how quickly water quality can change public health always recommends people assess beach conditions in real time and use your best judgment before swimming and avoiding swimming 24-48 hours after heavy rainfall or if you can’t see your feet in waist deep water.
The beach posting will stay in effect until further samples show levels are back into an acceptable range for swimming.
