Saugeen Shores Police continue to investigate after a suspect fled on foot when his dirt bike wouldn’t get him very far.
On August 29th, police received a report of a suspicious dirt bike in the Lamont Sports Park area.
Officers arrived to find a man sleeping but when officers approached the man, he woke up, got on the dirt bike and fled.
Police patrolled the area finding the man who kept trying to flee but struck a temporary fence which then the man fled into a wooded area.
The dirt bike was later found to have been stolen from Huron County which was towed from the scene.
