A big talk for 2023 which will see a carry over for 2024 was Lakeshore Triathlon staying put in Saugeen Sores for 2024 and beyond.
Prior to the race in 2023, it usually was run in Kincardine as it had since 2001 only missing 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
Race Director Sarah Foster said it was overwhelming to see volunteers and participants be in full support to keep the race in Saugeen Shores.
Foster adds the support for the last 20 years in Kincardine was well received and supported local
“In that time we’ve seen thousands of women compete, raise over $100,000 for local Kincardine charities. We’re glad we’re able to keep the race alive by bringing it to Saugeen Shores” said Foster.
All eyes for the Lakeshore Triathlon now focus to July 20th at the Port Elgin Main Beach
