Dunsmoor Park in Kincardine is soon to see the return of its Summer Sing-a-Long event to the park all season long.

They invite everyone to bring their lawn chair or a blanket and join them on Sundays from July 2nd to September 3rd from 7:30 to 9 pm.

The event has an over 40-year history showcasing local musicians in a fun, relaxing space where everyone is welcome to sing along while the sun sets over Lake Huron.

The schedule includes Steve Deer, Brian Penner and Friends, Bob & Katherine, Jack Hacket and Friends as well as Shoreline’s own Morgan Ritchie.

She tells a bit about what people can expect.

“It is a bit of tradition in Kincardine. We always sing the National Anthem, which is nice. Then Steve Deer opens it up with a couple songs and a couple jokes. Then we get into the main performer for 45 minutes to an hour.

The weather permitting event is free although donations are accepted in support of offsetting the cost of equipment and maintenance for the event.
