The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority has received funding from the RBC Foundation to advance flood and drought forecasting.
The $10,000 donation from RBC will enhance the conservation authorities hydro-metric network and improve real time data collection.
Melanie Green, Regional Vice-President, Central Shores RBC says these enhancing monitoring capabilities will improve the reliability of SVCA’s data, helping organizations and individuals mitigate risks of by preparing accordingly.
The conservation authority says this funding represents a significant investment in public safety and environmental stewardship.
