Theresa Bester has been named as Hanover’s Senior of the Year.
Bester was honoured during a council meeting last week with the town saying Theresa is a dedicated volunteer with numerous organizations including Lights on Main Street and being part of the Hanover Horticultural Society and Lawn-bowling Club.
The Ontario Senior of the Year award is given ever year by each municipality across Ontario recognizing those aged 65 or older who have made outstanding contributions to their communities.
