The Town of Hanover is making a call to business owners and residents to deal with a rat problem.
Given an increased report of rodent sightings, the town is taking measures to reduce and prevent further activity but in doing so, collaborative effort is needed.
To help prevent conditions which attract rodents, residents are reminded to properly store and secure garbage, eliminate clutter and debris around buildings and remove potential food sources from yards and exterior areas.
Town bylaws require all necessary steps be taken to remove conditions which could be contributing to the rodent problem in buildings and on properties.
