The Town of Hanover’s By-Law Enforcement Department advised its residents of the symptoms of a raccoon with distemper.
They say they may lose their fear of humans, appear blind or confused, wander aimlessly and become aggressive if cornered.
They say to not interact with nuisance wildlife and have an animal professionally removed from your property if they are present.
