It’s time to start thinking about clearing out those Christmas trees, and several local municipalities are reminding residents that curbside pickup is not an option.
In Goderich, trees can be dropped off at the Public Works Yard on 361 Cambridge St. In the yard waste bunker between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from now until Jan. 6. The yard is closed on weekends.
In Bluewater, there’s three places residents can go: the green waste site in Hensall, the black trailer in the Zurich community centre parking lot and on Howard St. East in front of the yard fence in Bayfield.
The last day to drop off your tree is Dec. 7.
