A Bluewater District School Board Trustee is facing sanctions after a breach of the code of conduct.
The board approved sanctions against Trustee Derrick Long after a recommendation by the Integrity Commissioner during a board meeting earlier this month.
The sanctions include not allowing Long to attend the June 17th meeting, bar him from sitting on committees of the board for 90 days and remove him from the Audit Committee.
This all came after complaints said Long tried to access his board email from outside of Canada which is against BWDSB policy and considered a breach of security.
