While it certainly is still quite early to be swimming in Lake Huron, public health has deemed two beaches not safe for swimming heading into the weekend.
Samples from Port Albert and Goderich Rotary Cove have been found to be considered under a no swim advisory.
Public health over the summer regularly collects samples to test beach water for unsafe bacteria and if readings of E. coli exceed Ministry of Health guidelines, swimming is not recommended.
This marks the first set of testing for the season.
