Two Youth Charged in Stabbing Incident in Flesherton Yesterday Morning

15 year old from Southgate Township has been charged with assault with a weapon and 16-year-old student from Grey Highlands Township was charged with attempting to obstruct justice.

The two suspects arrested in Grey Highlands following an incident at a Flesherton Highschool yesterday morning have been charged.

Police were called to the scene around 10:15 am after reports of a student being stabbed and requiring medical attention.

They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wellington County OPP Constable Joshua Cunningham proves the update.

“The two students taken into custody have both been charged. A 15 year old student from Southgate Township has been charged with assault with a weapon. And a 16-year-old student from Grey Highlands Township was charged with attempting to obstruct justice. Both are scheduled to appear in youth court next month.”

Police commended the school’s staff & students for the calm manner in which they conducted themselves during the violent situation.
