A fire a few weeks ago at the Kincardine Laundromat has left a dent in the community, leaving some without an option to use laundry facilities locally.

In an effort to step up and support those, United Way Bruce Grey in answering the call by putting a map together of local laundromats to assist those needing a place to use the facilities but not everyone can have this use of access due to mobility or lack of transportation.

Francesca Dobbyn, Executive Director of United Way Bruce Grey says they have some lines of support to help link up needed resources.

“What were asking people to do who have these barriers to call 211. There might be some resources out there to help mitigate those barriers and then 211 will track what the barriers are that we can’t solve right now” said Dobbyn.

211 is available to dial at anytime which can help track and keep up with those are dealing with this issue.
