As tax season will be coming, The Bruce Grey Poverty Task Force is looking for volunteers for the next tax clinic volunteer drive.
The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program – Canada Revenue Agency provides free tax filing support for low income individuals, seniors, people with disabilities, newcomers and others facing barriers to tax filing.
This year its reported 41,400 people were eligible for the program in Grey Bruce with volunteers in Grey Bruce helping 3910 people with $13,671,000 being returned to people in refunds and benefits.
