The Walkerton Fire Department is recruiting volunteer firefighters who can demonstrate the personal values of trust, honesty, integrity, compassion and empathy and can perform as part of a team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to perform a number of tasks including fire protection and rescue services, fire inspect and public education within established policies & guidelines.
They will be holding an open house on Thursday, April 27th at 7pm at the Walkerton Fire Hall.
They encourage applicants to bring their partners to get a better understanding of the department and commitment to the position.
