The Bruce County Library’s Walkerton Branch is looking for the public’s help in creating some Valentine’s Day Love for Residents at Brucelea Haven Long Term Care Home.

Supervisor at the Branch Tracey Knapp tells what supplies can be picked up at the branch if needed.

“We have been doing the supplies. We made up some little bags and put in some coloured paper, some stickers and little pieces of fancy paper that we have. We also encourage people to use whatever they have at home if they wanted to add more to it.”

All they need residents to do to take part in the “Valentines for Seniors” initiative is create some Valentine’s Cards showing the joy of the season of Valentine’s day and drop them in the Valentine’s for Seniors Mailbox at the Walkerton Library Branch by 3pm on Saturday, February 5th.

The Walkerton Library Branch is hoping to have 150 created to give to residents on Valentines Day February 14th.
