Hydro One crews continue to work to get power restored after heavy winds, rain and severe thunderstorms ravaged parts of Ontario.
Alerts were issued across phones, tv and radio in Midwestern Ontario with destructive winds coming into the region which resulted in down trees and prolonged power outages which for a moment in Goderich a shelter in place was issued.
Thousands across the shoreline are still without power with a restoration time still not known.
