Westario Power’s stakeholders have agreed to accept a purchase from ERTH Corporation.
The closure of this transaction will still need to be approved by the Ontario Energy Board who will conduct a no harm test to look over the transaction and ensure proposed changes will not come with higher costs or reduced service for customers.
Westario President and CEO Walter Malcolm says this change won’t have any impact on Westario employees or customers.
The full change hands isn’t expected to be complete until mid 2026.
