Members of the Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus held a strategic session with both Federal and Provincial Members of Parliament on Friday to advance discussions on critical issues impacting small & rural Municipalities in Southwestern Ontario.

The attendees included Chair of the Caucus & Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Mayor Glen McNeil.

The three critical regional priorities discussed for the upcoming year were housing, workforce development and mental health, addiction and homelessness.

By working collaboratively with both levels of government, the Caucus aims to bring about lasting & impactful solutions to the challenges faced by small & rural municipalities.
