The Western Ontario Wardens Caucus met virtually recently with their regional Members of Parliament and Members of Provincial Parliament.
At the meeting the WOWC unveiled their priorities for 2023-24 as well as present and discuss strategic approaches and mutual opportunities for collaboration and advocacy over the coming year.
Key priorities included housing, workforce to support economic growth and mental health, addiction and homelessness.
WOWC Chair and Huron County Warden Glen McNeil says these issues have been identified as primary concerns for small and rural municipalities.
