There will be some Huron County representation when the Ontario Wheelchair Basketball team takes part in the 2022 Junior National Championships set to take place in Charlottetown, PEI from June 10th to 12th.

Cole Heesels, who is from Exeter, and plays for the London Flash, will represent Ontario at the event.

The team is made up of twelve of the Province’s top junior-age athletes. They were chosen after a series of selection and training camps held over the season.

The coaches for the team will be Head Coach Kathy Ludwig and Assistants Josh Davis and Andrea Foessel.

The first two were both part of the coaching staff that brought home the silver medal at the 2019 Canada Games.
