We can expect to see Wiarton Willie sitting on his perch looking for his shadow come February 2nd.
South Bruce Peninsula Mayor Janice Jackson says the Wiarton Willie Festival will be back next year after having it cancelled in 2021.
She says in lieu of this year’s festival, the Town did a video looking back at the history of Wiarton Willie.
Jackson says staff are working hard putting together next year’s event and expects an exciting atmosphere.
She says Bruce Power will be the lead sponsor of the Wiarton Willie Festival.
