Wingham ED set to close overnight Tomorrow night and parts of Sunday

The ED is set to close Thursday, July 27th at 5pm and re-open at 7am the next morning. It will then re-close at 5am on Sunday, July 30th and re-open at 7pm the same day.

The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance is set to temporarily close the Wingham Hospital Emergency Department due to staffing shortages.

The ED is set to close Thursday, July 27th at 5pm and re-open at 7am the next morning Friday, July 28th.

It will then re-close at 5am on Sunday, July 30th and re-open at 7pm the same day.

Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.

EMS will remain available in the area during the closure and will re-route them to the nearest open emergency department.
