Wingham ER set to close overnight Friday & Monday due to Staff Shortages

The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance is set to temporarily close the Wingham & District Hospital Emergency Department due to staffing shortages.

It is set to close on Friday, July 7^th at 5pm and re-open on Saturday, July 8^th at 7am.

It will then re-close on Monday, July 10^th and reopen on Tuesday, July 11^th at 7 am.

Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.

EMS will remain available to the community and will re-route them to the surrounding hospitals to ensure hey have access to the emergency services they need.
