Wingham ER to see day closure & reduction in hours over the Long Weekend

The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance has announced that due to ongoing healthcare staff shortages the Wingham ER will be closed starting this afternoon, Thursday, May 18^th at 5pm until Friday, May 19^th at 7 am.

Additionally, starting Saturday, May 20^th the ER will only be open from 7 am until 3 pm on that day, Sunday, May 21^st and Monday, May 22^nd.

Regular 24/7 hours will resume on Tuesday, May 23^rd at 7 am.

Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency. EMS will remain available to the community and will re-route them to surrounding hospitals to ensure local residents continue to have access to emergency services as need.
