The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation have received a boost in the memory of Joyce Harman.
Nancy MacDonald-Exel, alongside with John Exel and their family have made a donation of $15,000 to the hospital.
Joyce who passed away in April cared for the Exel children when they were young and provided significant support to the family during that time.
The gift made in honour of her legacy will support the purchase of a Bone Density Scanner, a vital diagnostic tool to help detect osteoporosis and prevent fragility fractures, conditions which disproportionately affect women.
