Wingham’s Ride for Dad is set to take place next month.

The nation wide movement is in support of fighting Prostate Cancer and raising funds for awareness on Prostate Cancer.

Ride for Dad will kick off at the Wingham Legion on Saturday July 16th and take a tour making various stops for a 200km ride.

Angela Duvall with Ride for Day says various stops will include a poker rally, a chance to win some prizes.

“So it’s basically just like play poker. You drive to a predetermined stop, pick a card and it gets registered to your slip of paper and then you go the next stop. Hopefully you’ll get a really good hand you’ll win a prize at the end.” said Duvall.

The ride kicks off at 10:45am with registration for $30 for a rider and $20 for a passenger.

Volunteers are also in need for the event.
